A minimal-data site, by design.

Fuji Gear Index is a read-only lens guide. It does not offer accounts, accept payments, load Google Analytics, or currently serve advertising.

Information collected

The site does not currently ask visitors to create an account or submit personal information. Search terms and filter choices in the lens explorer remain in the visitor’s browser session and are not intentionally transmitted to the publisher.

Hosting and technical logs

The hosting and network providers that deliver the site may process standard technical information—such as IP address, user agent, request time, requested URL, security signals, and error logs—to operate, secure, and diagnose the service. Their processing is governed by their own terms and privacy practices.

External links

The guide links to manufacturers, laboratories, reviewers, and community sources. Following an external link takes the visitor to another operator’s site, where that operator’s privacy policy applies. A link is evidence attribution, not an endorsement of the destination’s privacy practices.

Analytics

Google Analytics is configured in the publisher’s Google project but is paused on this website. The site does not currently load the Google Analytics script, set Analytics cookies, or send page-view events to the configured stream. Search Console may still provide the publisher with aggregate search-performance information collected by Google before a visitor reaches this site.

Advertising and future changes

No advertising or affiliate tracking is active today. The source includes inactive manual ad positions, but they render nothing unless approved AdSense publisher and slot identifiers are deliberately configured. Before advertising or affiliate tracking is enabled, this policy will be updated to identify the provider, purpose, data categories, retention approach, and available choices. Where legally required, a Google-certified consent mechanism will be used before personalized advertising or other non-essential storage.

Children’s privacy

The site is a technical photography reference for a general audience and is not directed to children. It does not knowingly solicit personal information from children.

Questions or requests

Privacy questions, correction requests, or requests concerning personal information can be sent to editor@fujigearindex.com or submitted using the guidance on the contact page.
